The treatment
What are polynucleotides?
Polynucleotides are chains of nucleotides, the building blocks of DNA. In skin treatments they act as a bio-stimulator: rather than adding volume, they encourage the skin to repair and renew itself.
VicoSkin’s polynucleotide treatments are designed to deeply hydrate, enhance elasticity and support skin regeneration at a cellular level, stimulating the skin’s natural repair processes and encouraging the production of collagen and elastin.
Concerns
What polynucleotides can help with
- Fine lines and loss of firmness
- Dull, tired-looking skin
- Dehydration and reduced elasticity
- Fine lines, puffiness and signs of fatigue around the eyes

Polynucleotides can also be added to a Vico Ultra Infusion treatment for £120. See the full treatments menu for details.
Laser + polynucleotides
Vico Ultra MD Polynucleotides
By creating microthermal zones in the skin, the Thulium fractional laser encourages the formation of fresh, healthy tissue. Adding polynucleotides goes beyond standard resurfacing.
It is used to improve pigmentation, melasma, wrinkles, active acne, enlarged pores, sun damage and uneven texture, with visible improvement from the first session. Browse the skin concerns we work with.

Your treatment course
For the best results from Vico Polynucleotides and Vico Polynucleotide Eye, a course of 3 to 5 sessions is recommended, spaced 2 to 3 weeks apart, so the skin can fully benefit from each application.
Polynucleotides also sit alongside our other regenerative treatments. Profhilo is often combined with polynucleotides at VicoSkin, and XERF™ skin tightening can form part of the same plan. Aesthetic treatments are available with Nurse Masha.
